Funerals

Oh that I had the wings of a dove
For then I would fly away and be at peace

- Psalm 55.6 -

At funeral and memorial services, a dove release is a peaceful and healing tribute. A beautiful way of expressing a final goodbye, of letting go.

The releasing of Doves offers a feeling of peace and calmness, helping bring closure to family members of a lost loved one. A unique heartfelt way to honor your loved one .
We will accommodate each family's individual needs for a loving tribute. We understand your grief and your needs during this time of loss.

We will co-ordinate the dove release with you or your funeral director. You can call and just give us the name of your funeral director and how many doves you would like and we can then liaise with your funeral director for all other details.

We will arrive, be ready and waiting prior to your arrival.  Consider giving a loving tribute with or in lieu of flowers.  A memory that will long be remembered in everyone’s heart.

Please contact us for more information about our funeral release services.

Below are some suggestions for packages, however, we will work with you in choosing an individual package, whether it be a 1 dove or a flock. We can release the doves at the cemetery/crematorium or even at home, especially for someone who is unable to attend the funeral, the release of a dove is a way of saying goodbye to the dearly departed.

Package One - A single Dove Release-£85.00

A single White Dove is released in memory of the dearly departed.

This presents a quiet moment of reflection and a sense of enlightenment that the soul has lifted and become free to begin its heavenly journey home.

The Spirit Dove may be released by a family member / loved one, from a heart shaped decorative  basket  or by hand. You may wish to add a flock of doves to follow.

Package Two – Pair of  Doves-£95.00

A pair of white doves is symbolic of the joining of two souls.

Perhaps your loved one is joining another who has departed. On the occasion that you might be putting to rest your second parent, a two Dove release is offered, to symbolize them being together once again for all time.

The two  Doves may be released from a heart shaped decorative basket   or by hand

Package Three – Trinity Release -£130.00

Family Member/Loved one steps forward and releases one dove from our heart shaped decorative basket or by hand;

followed by 3 pure white doves from our

Holy Chapel representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Package Four -Flock of Doves-£150.00

Flock of 10 Pure White Doves released from our large decorative basket representing 10 Angels  soaring into the sky, usually circling to get their direction to make their trip home.

You may wish to release a significant number of doves i.e. grandchildren/family members. We have a number of small heart shaped baskets for individual release. Please call for further details.

A few words are read out by the dove handler about the symbolism of the dove just prior to release, however, you may choose to read a poem of your own for your loved one, something we can discuss with you.

£10 for each additional dove added to any of the above packages.

Please also note that most of our baskets and cages are open to allow the viewing of the doves before release, rather than just seeing them as they come out to fly away.
